Sunny weather for our last day of summer. A full day and evening in this ancient city, once inhabited by the Romans. Our daily "learning and discovery" came via a full morning guided walking tour with a local guide through the produce market, on to St. Mary's Cathedral, which wins the prize for stained glass windows, and a peek at one of Antonio Gaudi's earlier archiological works. Left on our own for lunch, several of us found a paella and sangria repast, while relaxing well into the afternoon. We're learning to adopt "Spanish time".
Tonight we are fortunate to attend the first night of an organ festival dedicated to the change of seasons.
